It has a brief, unsigned introduction that is inaccurate. Given the opportunity again, I would spend a few more dollars and get a better copy from a known publisher.Product details

I owned the book already but in small print. I wanted to have in large print. It was wonderful. A wonderful companion.
It's not a diary, it's not a biography per se. It 's a philosophical book of writer's calling, his ethics and morals, and, in a final account, A Personal Record is the legacy Joseph Konrad left for us. Legacy of decency and message of how one should live.
Joseph Conrad as always writes well. His background as a seaman was the basis of his greatest works.
